I've used Dev-CPP in the passed and was able to get it set up successfully but I want to use MSVC 2008 Pro.Īfter installing MSVC 2008 Pro I downloaded this zipped binary 'allegro-msvc90-4.2.2.zip' and extracted the files. After assembling bits and pieces from similar posts I still haven't found a step by step guide for MSVC 2008 Pro (if someone knows of one please let me know I've tried to go to the WIKIs that Matthew Leverton suggested but I'm still having some difficulties). I've been searching for a step by step guide to get allegro to work with VS 2008 Pro.
